"Les Printanières"
Dernière mise à jour : 4 oct. 2022
The Printanières were born out of the complicity and love uniting the two artists, mother and daughter team ( Nathalie, the photographer and Pierrette Prophete, the collagist ).
The photo portraits were inspired by Indian deities, Hawaiian wear, the "Flower Men" and Frida Kahlo.
It was then the turn of the collagist to imagine the atmosphere, the decor and thus create an original piece of art full of charm.
It was a lovely project made possible by the kindness and generosity of the models. The portraits were made with ease as the models loved being adorned n such a way.
The project was popular, and very quickly an exhibition was planned in Arles with the help of a fashion designer.
The name "Les Printanières" refers to Spring, the outbreak and renewal. It echoes the post-pandemic period, where we were finally able to remove our masks and reveal our smiles.
A four-handed project that highlights the beauty of everyone regardless of their age, origin, gender or history.
Calm, tenderness, gentleness, fantasy and pleasure; here are “Les Printanières”.
